Isabel's - Europe

Hi! This is Isabel and I am writing from San Sebastian, Spain. This trip so far has had great things and bad things. Some bad things are having to share rooms with Eli and Kalli and the 6 hour car rides. Some of the good things have been just doing whatever we want. Staying up to midnight and waking up at 11:00. The exploring we have done is amazing, like when we went to Saint Emillion. Or going to the beach that had crazy waves, Kalli went under at least 25 times. It has been really different here, like the time difference is 8 hours! Also people do things different, people in Paris were really stuck up but, as we gradually got out of the city they got much nicer.

The people in Spain are sweet and just laid back. I love the life style here the people are relaxed and love to have fun, Every day at lunch every one will close down their shops for 2 hours and go eat lunch. Also every August people shut every thing down and go on vacation for a month. The people here enjoy life and have fun, they eat to enjoy food and not just to fill them selves up. So far the places we have rented have been pretty good. The first place, in Paris, was a one room hotel were we squeezed in together, the second place, in Saint Emillion, was a four room with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The third place, in San Sebastian, has three bedrooms, a big kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a big family room. It has been relaxing and stress free this trip so far, well except for riding the Metro! I thought Europe would be cobblestones with vendors in the streets, that is how older parts are but otherwise its just like home. Next we are going to Potes, Spain in the Asturias region.
